You are probably aware of the obvious connection between environment and stress and that we counteract stress through the social movement LicenceToChill®. We also do some other good things. We're quite strong on ethics and the environment actually. We sort & recycle in great scale, with ethical considerations as more than a feature..

Transport pollutes. We have reduced our own transportation needs through investment in vacuum packaging equipment and vacuum packs the most bulky goods we send out. Laidback has also built and invested in a machine that mixes and mill foam from other furniture production. As a consequence, we avoid the destruction of the foam with connected emissions. We also avoid new production of the our bags main ingredient; the foam. The environmentally friendly and certified foam, is also locally (Norwegian). Moreover, we produce covers and inner bags in Norway. We also soon introduce a return and refund scheme (with retrospective effect) for our customers who have used the products we have delivered (cradle to cradle). We strive, as long as it does not threatens the quality, to use textiles that already exists. We also try to use the minimum packaging. At the UN Environment Day, organized by Grønn hverdag, we fronted the environmental movement on national tv on Karl Johan and in front of the Royal Palace. We´re gonna repeat it this year.

Ethical trade means companies and other actors to contribute to improvements in working conditions and environment in its existing supply chain. Laidbacks obligations of being a member of the ETI is as follows: Laidback LicenceToChill AS is committed to work actively to realize the purposes ETI-Norway cooperation on trade that safeguards human rights, labor rights, development and environment. Membership of ETI requires active efforts to contribute to improvements in these conditions.
